About Virtual Program
Our course provides training in patient care in the home. Our Home Health Aide curriculum covers all competencies required by the board of Nursing of the State of New Jersey, i.e. basic human needs, the home environment prevention and safety, basic concepts of child and the elderly care, how to handle issues related to mental health, and terminally ill patients.
Upon completion of this course you will receive a certification from the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
Benefits Of Online Class?
Certified Home Health Aide online classes (C.H.H.A) are convenient for prospective students. The benefits of taking online Home Health Aide classes include the flexibility of the schedule.
A student can train from the comfort of their home, all that is needed is a computer and a stable internet connection.
Requirements include a 60-hour online course work and 16-hour clinical on site. ( Last 3 days of Course)
Difference Between In-Classroom and Online Training?
There are no significant differences in curriculum between in-classroom training or our online class. A 76-hour training regimen and an examination at the end of the course is required in both instances.
The main difference is how the courses are taken. Online training will be Zoom Video Conferencing. Students will be required to join our Certified Home Health Aide instructor 9am - 2:30pm Tuesday - Thursday via Zoom conferencing.
At the completion of the course all students will be required to pass a state CHHA examination to complete certification to be considered for employment.
Employment/Placement
Employment/ Placement will be administered upon completion of online training state mandatory requirements of 76 hours of training and submission of profile/application to State Board of Nursing.
